5. Think deeper - Look back at your our major question, how are you now going to use the information you have to answer this question.

Teacher Comment: Now that you have found your information what can you do with it. Some ideas: record the number of ads occurring during television programmes at different times. What proportion/percentages are ads? Do particular ads show or repeat during certain times or shows? What does this mean in terms of how advertising affects and alters our perceptions and opinions? Miss Sharrem.

Using language symbols and text - use and make meaning of the wide range of literacy including texts like newspapers, graphs, statistics, maps, visual and oral media etc.
